Free calculators, your own numbers
What a mile really costs you, and what a driver really keeps.
Fuel is the cost you see. Depreciation, insurance, tyres, maintenance and tax are the cost you pay anyway. Three calculators put the whole car on one line, per mile or per km, from the numbers you type: no account, no price list, nothing stored on our servers.
The calculators
Cost per mile calculator
The real cost of one mile or km: fuel or charging, maintenance, tyres, insurance, depreciation, tax and loan interest.
EV vs gas cost calculator
An electric car against a gas or diesel car on your miles and prices: cost per year, over 5 years, and the break-even.
Rideshare driver cost calculator
What you keep per week and per hour after the car, cost per paid mile, break-even pay, and the mileage deduction.
Made for drivers who get paid per trip
The app shows a payout per week. It does not show the tyres wearing on the way to the next pickup, the value the car loses every month, or the insurance that runs while you wait. The driver calculator takes all work miles, paid or not, at your real cost per mile and shows what is left per week and per hour, what each paid mile has to earn, and the payout per mile below which a shift loses money.
It also sets the standard mileage rate against your real cost for the same miles, so you can see whether the flat rate is generous or stingy for your car. The figure is quoted from its official source and applied arithmetically; it is information, not tax advice.
Drive for a platform? Pro turns your numbers into a printable report.
One page with your real cost per mile, fixed and variable costs, depreciation, the standard mileage rate against your real cost and your break-even payout, built from the figures you typed in the calculators. Nothing leaves your browser except what you choose to print.
See ProWhere the numbers come from
Every result is simple arithmetic on what you type: distance, fuel economy or energy use, prices, and the yearly costs of owning the car. Each field starts with a value for your region (US first, then UK and Metric: US (miles, $, gallons); UK (miles, £, litres); Metric (km, litres)) with its source and the date it was read shown under the field. There are no live prices and no claims about any car or brand.
The three calculators share your inputs inside your browser, so the driver calculator can pick up the cost per mile you worked out first. Results are planning estimates for your own decisions, not professional, financial or tax advice.
